Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder David Wotherspoon has signed with Championship club Dunfermline Athletic.

The 34-year-old, who spent part of last season with Inverness, has signed a one-year-deal at East End Park.

Wotherspoon (34) signed a short-term deal with Inverness in October last year after leaving St Johnstone and became a fans favourite due to his impressive performances.

He was named Scottish Championship player of the month in November and scored four goals in 10 appearances.

He left Inverness in January to sign for Dundee United who went on to win the Championship.

However, he left Tannadice at the end of last season before going on to sign for Dunfermline Athletic.
