Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle goalkeeper agrees deal to join Highland League club

FORMER Inverness Caledonian Thistle goalkeeper has signed for Highland League champions Buckie Thistle.

The 33-year-old, who left the League One outfit after his contract expired at the end of last season, has signed a one-year deal at Victoria Park

Ridgers released a statement on Buckie Thistle social media that he was looking forward to playing for Buckie.

He said: "Delighted to sign for the Highland League champions and looking forward to the season ahead.

"I'm thankful for patience the club have shown me over last few weeks while I made the decision which I feel now in my career is the best for my family.

"Fingers crossed we can repeat last seasons success and continue to grow the club on and off the field."

Ridgers signed for Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2017 made 280 appearances for the club and holds the record for most clean sheets with 91.

He was part of the Inverness team which reached the Scottish Cup final in 2023.
