FORMER Inverness Caledonian Thistle player Brad Mckay has signed for Highland League club Brechin City on a one-year deal

The 31-year-old has agreed a deal to play at Glebe Park this season after leaving Championship club Falkirk.

Mckay played at Inverness Caledonian Thistle for five years between 2016 and 2021 where he played 164 times for the club.

McKay spent the last three seasons at Falkirk before moving on to Brechin City.

Brechin City manager Patrick Cregg commented, “We’re delighted to get Brad signed – he brings a wealth of experience to the group.

“He’s had a very good career and he’s on board with what we want to achieve as a group. We’re excited to get him in and he will play a big part for us over the course of the season."
