Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker George Oakley could be set to return to the club.

The 26-year-old features for Inverness as a trialist against Brora Rangers at Dudgeon Park this afternoon.

Oakley played for Inverness between 2017 and 2019 when he was brought to the club by former manager John Robertson.

He left to join Hamilton Academical who were in the Premiership, where he spent 18 months under former Caley Thistle assistant manager Brian Rice.

He then moved to Bulgaria to play for Pirin Blagoevgrad in the summer of 2020 where he spent six months before joining Kilmarnock in January 2021.

He spent six months in Ayrshire before the club was relegated from the Premiership and moved back to England to play for Woking in the National League last season.
