Inverness Caledonian Thistle former player signs with Highland League club Inverurie Locos
Former Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker Ethan Cairns has signed for Highland League club Inverurie Locos.
The 20-year-old forward has agreed to an initial two-year contract at Harlaw Park following leaving the Caledonian Stadium last month.
It was announced that Cairns had left Inverness Caledonian Thistle on May 15 when 11 players had agreed new contracts with the club.
Other players to have left the club from last season include Musa Dibaga, Charlie Gilmour and Lewis Nicolson.
Cairns had been with the Caley Jags since he was nine years old, and turned professional in 2021. In total, he made 22 appearances for the Caley Thistle first team, scoring one goal.
It was also confirmed yesterday that Inverness Caledonian Thistle have exited administration following creditors and members agreeing a Company Voluntary Arrangement allowing Alan Savage to take over the club.
