Former Inverness Caley Thistle midfielder Anthony McDonald joins Spanish club Córdoba CF.

Former Caley Thistle midfielder Anthony McDonald has joined Spanish club Córdoba CF.

The 19-year-old has left Hearts to make a permanent switch to the Segunda División B side, signing a two-year deal.

McDonald moved to Inverness on loan from Hearts in January 2019 where he made eight appearances and scored once in a 2-2 draw against Greenock Morton.

McDonald was sent on loan from Hearts to Dunfermline Athletic in August 2019.
