Five academy graduates awarded professional contracts at Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have given professional contracts to five graduates from its youth academy.

Ethan Cairns, Harry Hennem, Lewis Nicolson, Alisdair Riddle and Robbie Thompson have signed their first professional contracts with the Championship outfit.

Cairns (16) is a forward from Fort William and attended Lochaber High School and has also been with the club since he was nine.

Thompson, (17) is a central midfielder from Inverness and attended Inverness Royal Academy and has been at the club since he was nine.

Nicolson (17), is a left-back from Inverness and attended Culloden Academy and has been at the club since he was nine.

Riddle (17), is a midfielder from Inverness and attended Inverness Royal Academy and has been at the club since he was 12.

Harry Hennem (17) is a midfielder from Tain and attended Tain Royal Academy and has been at the club since he was 14.

Head coach Billy Dodds said: “It is a tribute to the great work of the Caley Jags Academy coaching staff and the dedication of the players and their families that the boys are making this step up the professional football ladder.”
