First round draw for North of Scotland Cup

The draw for the first round of the North of Scotland Cup has been made.

In the East Section, last year's beaten finalists Inverness Caledonian Thistle head to Moray to take on Lossiemouth.

Meanwhile Nairn County head west to take on Fort William.

In the North Section, Clachnacuddin head to Grantown-on-Spey to take on Strathspey Thistle.

Ross County won the competition in 2018 beating Caley Thistle 3-2 at Grant Street Park.

First Round - Wednesday, July 31

East Section:

Fort William v Nairn County

Forres Mechanics v Elgin City

Lossiemouth v Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Rothes Bye to quarter finals.

North Section:

Golspie Sutherland v Brora Rangers

Wick Academy v Invergordon

Strathspey Thistle v Clachnacuddin

Ross County Bye to quarter finals.

Quarter Finals – Wednesday, August 21

East Section:

Lossiemouth/Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Forres Mechanics/Elgin City

Rothes v Fort William/Narn County

North Section:

Golspie Sutherland/Brora Rangers v Wick Academy/Invergordon

Strathspey Thistle/Clachnacuddin v Ross County

Semi Finals – Wednesday, September 4:

Lossiemouth/ICT/Elgin/Forres v Strathspey/Clach/Ross County

Golspie/Brora/Wick/Invergordon v Rothes/Fort William/Nairn

Final – Saturday, October 5 or Sunday, October 6.
