INVERNESS Caledonian Thistle welcomed fans back to the Caledonian Stadium for the first time in nine months by beating Raith Rovers.

Caley Thistle took the lead in the 18th minute when Miles Storey used his pace to create space on the right wing and squared it to James Keatings in the box who fired home.

The hosts doubled their advantage midway through the second half when Kai Kennedy's cross found Miles Storey in the middle and he set up Scott Allardice to fire a low drive into the net.

The win moves Inverness up to fifth in the table as they go into a two week break.

Their next match is against Queen of the South on Friday, December 4.
