LOCH Ness made a monster statement in their debut in North Caledonian League Division Two as they thrashed fellow league newcomers Scourie.

The hosts went 4-0 up at half time before firing in seven more goals in the second half.

DJ Macphee and Luke Seago both scored hat tricks with Johnny Hewitt scoring twice.

Ross Harrison, Craig Mainland and Kane Hull completed the rout with Sam Lucas grabbing a consolation for the North-West Sutherland visitors.

Loch Ness go top of North Caledonian League Division Two after one match.
