Duncan Lamont is excited to be finally making the move to the Netherlands to play football for HV&CV Quick.

Highland League footballer Duncan Lamont is about to set off on a new journey in the fourth tier of Dutch football.

The former Inverness Caledonian Thistle youth, Strathspey Thistle and Fort William player has agreed to move to the Netherlands to sign for HV&CV Quick, who plays in the Sunday Derde Divisie.

This isn’t the first time that Lamont has looked to move to Holland, having had trials at MVV Maastricht in 2011, Fortuna Sittard – who were at the time coached by Rangers legend Fernando Ricksen – and JVC Cuijk in 2015.
