Karen Mason’s team are currently four points behind Dunfermline Athletic and Buchan with three games to play – which is one less than the Pars and one more than Buchan.

Caley Thistle also still have to play Buchan, so if other teams do them a favour and take points off Dunfermline they will be right in the mix.

ICT beat Stonehaven 7-1 last time out thanks to goals from Leanne Calder, Mary Macleod, Alex Andrews, Megan McCarthy, Katie Cleland, Natalie Bodiam and Peigi Barker, who scored her first senior goal.

The ICT Development side will also be in Highlands and Islands league action on Sunday, travelling to Buckie.

An eight-goal swing in goal difference between the Development side and second-placed Caithness in recent weeks has boosted chances of a double runners-up finish for both of the ICT women’s teams.

Back-to-back matches against Buckie – first away and then back at Millburn Academy next week – end their season.
