Debut derby day for new Inverness football clubs

ITS derby day on Sunday as the Highlands and Islands Women’s League hosts its first ever match between two teams from Inverness.

Clachnacuddin Women take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle Women’s Development at Grant Street Park in Merkinch in a historic match for women’s football in the city.

Both teams have got off to a good start in the league, with ICT Development currently in second place having won all three of their matches.

Clachnacuddin are third in the table having won two of their three matches, with their only defeat coming against league leaders Lewis and Harris.
