Date announced for the return of the Snowman Rally to Inverness and Ross-shire

ORGANISERS have announced that the 2022 Snowman Rally will take place on Saturday, March 5.

Highland Car Club made the announcement on social media on Thursday when it plans to stage the first round of the Scottish Rally Championship.

The 2021 event was cancelled due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 2020 rally saw the drivers parade switched from Inverness to Dingwall Town Centre, although no further details for this year's event have been confirmed.

The 2020 Coogie Urquhart Snowman Rally was won by Michael Binnie and co-driver Claire Mole in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.
