Alan Clyne's Commonwealth Games is over after being knocked out of the men's doubles last 16.
The Munlochy athlete, who was paired with Edinburgh's Douglas Kempsell, lost 2–1 to Velavan Senthilkumar and Abhay Singh from India.
Clyne and Kempsell, who won bronze at the World Doubles Championships in Glasgow earlier this year, won the first game 11–8.
But they lost the next two games 11–10 and 11–8 to go out of the competition.
North Kessock athlete Greg Lobban is through to the quarter finals of the men's doubles with Perth's Rory Stewart.
But they required three games to defeat Tayyab Aslab and Nasir Iqbal from Pakistan in a 2–1 win.
The Scots, who won silver at the World Doubles Championships, won the first game 11–4, but lost the second 11–10. But they comfortably won the third 11–3.
They will face Zac Alexander and Ryan Cuskelly of Australia in the quarter finals tomorrow at 6.45pm.
