Canal Park will be converting into a football pitch as Clachnacuddin will be moving to the rugby stadium to play Fort William in the Highland League on Friday night.
The Highland League released an official statement on Saturday night that Clachnacuddin will play their next home match at the home of Highland Rugby Club due to repairs being carried out at Grant Street Park after the stadium was damaged by fire on Christmas Eve.
The fire which is believed to be caused by a fault to a tumble drier resulted in significant damage being caused to the kit room and dressing room at the Merkinch club.
So far, only Friday night's match against Fort William is scheduled to be played at Canal Park which will kick off at 7.45pm.
The statement from the Highland League said: "Work continues to repair facilities at Grant Street following the fire on Christmas Eve.
"However, it will not be completed in time to host the scheduled Breedon Highland League match between Clachnacuddin and Fort William on Saturday, January 18.
"Consequently, and with the agreement of both clubs, it has been decided to reschedule the match to Friday, January 17.
"It will take place at Canal Park, kick-off at 7.45pm."
