CLACHNACUDDIN ran riot against Wick Academy as they cruised to a 7-0 win that moved them up to fourth place in the Highland League.
Harry Nicolson opened the scoring after 11 minutes as he got the final touch on a Josh Meekings shot to flick past Graeme Williamson into the net.
James Anderson doubled their advantage five minutes later when he got a diving header on a cross to nod home from close range.
Nicolson then got his third just after the half hour mark when he launched a thunderous strike from 30 yards out straight into the top corner.
Scott Davidson made it four in the 34th minute when he beat the offside trap in a counter attack move and fired past Williamson to make it 4-0 at the break.
Clachnacuddin didn’t find their fifth until nine minutes from time when Lewis Mackenzie saw his first shot parried away by Williamson, but when Troy Cooper sent the ball back into the box, Mackenzie made no mistake with the second attempt.
Jack Davison made it six in the 86th minute when he ran on to a long ball before charging towards goal and fired home from the edge of the box.
The rout was completed in injury time when Connor Bunce fired from 18-yards-out.
