Clachnacuddin ready to make cup final history at Caledonian Stadium





CLACHNACUDDIN Women will be looking to make history by winning the first Highlands and Islands Cup final against Lewis and Harris tomorrow.

The Caledonian Stadium will host the historic match which will see the first piece of silverware being awarded since the formation of the Highlands and Islands League this year.

The top two teams in the division will face each other tomorrow afternoon where the Merkinch club will go into the match as underdogs against the Western Isles outfit who have won every game they’ve played this season.

But only losing 2-1 to Lewis and Harris in their league game earlier this season, Clach captain Eilidh Anderson is confident her team have a chance of lifting the trophy at full time.
