Clach worry over horror injury to Mackintosh

Clachnacuddin have suffered a major blow ahead of their opening Highland League match against Keith tomorrow after Ryan Mackintosh is reported to have suffered a suspected broken kneecap.

The defender sustained the injury during the Lilywhites 4-1 defeat against Brora Rangers in the North of Scotland Cup first round on Wednesday night at Grant Street Park.

He had to be carried off by physios at half time and was taken to hospital.

Manager Iain Polworth says Mackintosh has undergone an x-ray to find out how serious his injury is.
