Errors are keeping Clachnacuddin at bottom end of Highland League table





Sandy McLeod said Clachnacuddin are being crucified for making mistakes which are costing them points in the Highland League.

A 3-0 defeat at Rothes saw them lose their ninth match in 12 games this season as they dropped to second bottom in the table.

The Lilywhites manager said his team’s inability to take chances is resulting in defeats and their poor position in the league.

“We are making mistakes and in the end it is crucifying us as the opposition are finding the back of the net,” said McLeod.

“We are not creating enough and that is where we are at the moment. We need to knuckle down, keep it together and find a way of putting things right.”

However, McLeod said the scoreline flattered Rothes saying it was a closer contest than 3-0 suggested.
