Regan Charles-Cook's next move has been confirmed, as he has left Ross County to sign for Belgian Jupiler League outfit KAS Eupen on a three-year deal.

The 25-year-old had shone for the Staggies last season, finishing as the Premiership's joint-top scorer on 13 goals.

His tally was instrumental in helping County to a first top six finish in six years, albeit not enough to help them into European football for next season.

Charles-Cook moved to Dingwall from Gillingham in the summer of 2020, and despite struggling in his first campaign with the club went on to make 69 appearances in all competitions.

His performances last season earned him a nomination for the PFA player of the year, as well as taking the club's player of the year awards.

He joins a club who finished 15th in Belgium's top flight last season.

Eupen were delighted to get the deal over the line, with general director Christoph Henkel telling the club's website: "After an extremely strong 2021-2022 season, several clubs were interested in signing Regan Charles-Cook. We are all the more pleased that he has chosen KAS Eupen.

"With his speed and his goal threat, he can give our game speed, pressure and important impetus.

"We look forward to working with Regan Charles-Cook and extend a warm welcome to him.”
