The course, which hosted the Scottish Open, will be on a restricted basis with a five-day week and limited tee-times.

General manager Stuart McColm says the course will be open for bookings, subject to final confirmation from the Scottish Government which is expected on Thursday.

"We are delighted to be returning to some form of play though we have to be clear that the safety of our staff and visitors is uppermost in our thoughts," he said.

“We will be commencing on a slightly reduced scale as we navigate through the first few days and will alter our operations according to demand.

“The course will be open to our corporate programme and locals, though it is worth remembering that the current lockdown advice appears to be that people should travel no more than five miles for exercise.

“We will be adhering to all of the guidance and lockdown rules in the process.

"However, we are extremely pleased to be able to make this tentative first step back to playing.

"We are grateful for the invaluable support we continue to receive from our corporate programme, locals and even golfers from around the world.”

Tee-times will start at 8.30am on Friday and final tee-time will be 1pm each day.
