Dave Carson hopes Highland can continue their impressive campaign in Saturday’s cup tie.

Preston Lodge will make the trip to Canal Park tomorrow for a quarter final match in the National League Cup.

Having won both league matches this season and sitting higher up the National Two table, Highland will be the team expected to triumph.

But though Carson says he may not have called that at the beginning of the season, he is keen to use the match to push on in the latter stages of the season.

“We didn’t really know at the beginning of the season, we didn’t know how everyone was going to do,” he said.
