Carson commits to Highland for next season

Highland head coach Dave Carson has committed to the Canal Park outfit for at least another season.

Carson has overseen a meteoric rise at Highland since re-joining the club six years ago.

In that time, the club has risen through the ranks from Caledonia North Two to earning promotion to National One next season.

So it was an easy decision for Carson to stay at the club, although there has been a small re-shuffle in his coaching staff.

“As long as you’re still enjoying it, I think that’s the main thing,” Carson reasoned.

“It has been a good six years, we’ve had a lot of success.

“Every year we’re testing ourselves higher up – not just the players but the coaches."
