Carson calls for Highland backing in final two home games of the season

Highland Rugby Club head coach Dave Carson is hoping that a bumper crowd can help his side over the line in their final home games of the season.

Stirling Wolves visit Canal Park tomorrow afternoon, with Melrose next week the last time Highland will play in Inverness before the summer.

There is still an outside chance that Carson’s men can finish as runners-up in National One, but they will need favours from other teams while keeping a perfect record in the run-in.

Down at Bridgehaugh in the reverse fixture, Highland stretched into a stylish early lead, holding out for a 29–22 victory.

So Carson hopes to treat fans to a similarly entertaining spectacle.
