Caley Thistle teenager signs three-year deal

CALEY Thistle have announced Daniel Mackay has agreed to stay at the club by signing a new three-year deal.

The striker has agreed terms with the club which will keep him at the Caledonian Stadium until

2022.

The 17-year-old burst on to the scene last season, most notably in the Irn-Bru Cup final when his cross set up Carl Tremarco to score

the winning the goal.

Robertson says Mackay is one for the future at Caley Thistle.

“We’re absolutely delighted and it shows the youngsters will continue to be in our thoughts.

“Daniel will be involved in the squad from now until the end of the season and we hope he continues to kick on.

“He is a tremendous prospect for the future.”
