Caley Thistle beat off interest from Dunfermline Athletic, Dundee and Raith Rovers to bring the 20-year-old to the Caledonian Stadium.

Deas who was on loan at Alloa Athletic in the Championship last season, has represented Scotland at under-17 and under-19 level.

He was also on loan at Cowdenbeath during the 2018/19 season.

He is Caley Thistle’s second signing of the transfer window, after Shane Sutherland signed from Elgin City, although terms were agreed during January.

He could make his competitive debut for the club when the League Cup starts on Tuesday, October 6.

Inverness will find out who they will face in the League Cup when the draw is made on Monday afternoon.
