Inverness Caledonian Thistle attacker named in SPFL Championship team of the season as he heads to Hibernian next season

DANIEL MacKay has been named in the SPFL Championship team of the season.

The 20-year-old is the only player from Inverness Caledonian Thistle to be named in the team which was revealed this week.

MacKay, an academy graduate at Inverness, forced his way into the starting 11 upon his return from a loan spell at Elgin City in 2019/20 season.

He scored seven times in the Championship last season and notably found the net in the 3–1 win over Ross County in the Scottish Cup third round.

MacKay is joining Premiership outfit Hibernian next season.
