Inverness Caley Thistle’s match in Dumfries away at Queen of the South falls victim to Storm Bert as League One fixture is postponed

Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s match against Queen of the South has been postponed.

The Caley Jags had travelled south last night, but an afternoon pitch inspection of the Palmerston Park surface has ruled that it is unplayable.

A number of matches around the country have been called off due to the impact of Storm Bert, including elsewhere in League One with Arbroath’s trip to Kelty Hearts postponed.

From Caley Thistle’s point of view, not playing this afternoon means that Dumbarton will have the chance to immediately close the gap to them at the bottom of the table after slipping to the foot of the division having gone into administration and being deducted 15 points.
