Inverness Caley Thistle head to Dunfermline Athletic on the opening day of the Championship season

INVERNESS Caledonian Thistle will start its bid for promotion to the Premiership with a trip to Dunfermline Athletic on the opening day of the Championship season.

Caley Thistle will kick off their league campaign at East End Park on Saturday, October 17.

The first home game for Inverness will be against Ayr United on Saturday, October 24.

Only two games are scheduled to take place outwith a Saturday, both home matches against Dunfermline Athletic on Tuesday, December 29 and against Ayr United on the final day of the season on Friday, April 30.
