Inverness Caledonian Thistle head coach has been named manager of the month for September following also winning in August
INVERNESS Caledonian Thistle head coach Scott Kellacher has been named the Glen’s Vodka Scottish League 1 Manager of the Month for the second successive month.
Having already won the award for August, Kellacher received the September manager of the month award as Inverness continued their impressive form this season.
He led the club to overcome their five point deduction after going into administration last season to going top of the division in September after their 4-1 win over East Fife.
They have since dropped to third following their 3-1 defeat against new league leaders Hamilton Academical in Cumbernauld on Saturday, but are only one point off top.
Speaking about receiving the award, Kellacher said: “This award is very much a reflection of the collective effort across the whole club, the players and backroom staff have been outstanding.”
“September was a really positive month for us, with important league wins over Alloa Athletic, Cove Rangers, Queen of the South and East Fife. We also produced strong performances against Stirling Albion and Dundee B in the KDM Evolution Trophy, and we’ll keep working hard to build on it.”
Inverness head to Forfar Athletic in the KDM Evolution Trophy on Saturday.
