Inverness Caley Thistle have not budgeted for Premiership next season, says chairman Ross Morrison

Caley Thistle chairman Ross Morrison says the club have budgeted to play in the Championship, despite hope they could still be promoted to the Premiership next season.

Hearts chairwoman Ann Budge is set to deliver a members’ resolution for league reconstruction which could see the Premiership increased to 14 teams next season.

If passed, Caley Thistle would be promoted to the top flight after finishing the Championship in second place.

However, previous league reconstruction talks collapsed after Premiership clubs failed to give their backing.

Speaking on the Wyness Shuffle podcast, Morrison said they had not done much planning when it came to budgeting to play in the Premiership next season.
