Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1
Scorer: McKay (64)
Billy Mckay scored the winner as Inverness closed the gap at the top of League One with victory at Peterhead.
Inverness became the first visiting team to win at Balmoor in 11 months as they are now only one point off top spot.
Inverness were looking to win their first match in League One in October following a 3-1 defeat to Hamilton and a disappointing 2-2 draw to Kelty Hearts last weekend.
Inverness did move up to second place in League One earlier in the week after Hamilton were deducted six points from their League One total following being found guilty of being in breach of SPFL rules.
There were not many chances in the first half at Balmoor as both teams had to deal with challenging weather conditions. Mckay came closest to opening the scoring for Inverness when he saw his effort go wide of the left post. Liam Sole claimed for a penalty when he went down in a challenge but did not get the benefit of the doubt as the game remained goalless.
The winner came midway through the second half when Billy Mckay found the net from close range to give Inverness all three points. Inverness remain in second place but are now only one point behind leaders Stenhousemuir who drew 0-0 at Alloa Athletic.
