Clach boss Brian MacLeod thinks Brora are the toughest opposition his side has faced this season.

Clach manager Brian MacLeod ranks tomorrow’s opponents Brora Rangers as the best team in the Highland League this season.

It promises to be a formidable test of mettle for the Merkinch men against the title-chasing Sutherland side who thrashed them 5-0 in the Highland League Cup only six weeks ago.

With Brora clinging to Cove Rangers’ coat-tails near the league summit, MacLeod knows it will be tough to take anything from the repeat home encounter.

MacLeod said: “We played Brora last month and it was probably our worst performance since I came in as manager.

“I was really disappointed with us in that game, but I think the players knew it as well. We’ve spoken about it a couple of times since. We were far too passive and let Brora play.

“In fairness, they’re the best team I’ve seen this year – definitely the best we’ve played."
