Munlochy athlete Kirsty Law called up to Scotland Athletics squad to compete at Commonwealth Games in Birmingham

Discus thrower Kirsty Law has been called up to the Scotland squad to compete at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

The 35-year-old has been selected for the 33-strong athletics squad which will compete at the Alexander Stadium next month.

Law claimed a silver medal at the UK Athletics Championship in Manchester last weekend.

She has also been Scottish discus champion a record 13 times.
