Beeston set to miss several weeks of action for Clachnacuddin

James Beeston is out of Clachnacuddin’s match at Wick Academy and could be missing for several games due to work commitments.

Manager Sandy McLeod confirmed that the midfielder will miss tomorrow’s trip to Caithness and may not be available for the next few weeks.

McLeod says it is a blow to lose Beeston for at least the trip to the far north.

“James will be missing on Saturday due to work commitments,” he said.

“He has told me due to work commitments he might struggle to play over the next couple of weeks.

“It is just something that we will have to deal with.”

Teenager Danny Bruce is also struggling for fitness for the trip to Harmsworth Park but defender Michael Finnis will be available for the Lilywhites to the relief of McLeod.

He said: “We have badly missed Michael as was showed after the defeat to Deveronvale.”
