Beauly, Lovat and Glenurquhart represented in under-21 shinty hurling squad

Beauly, Glenurquhart and Lovat are all represented in the Scotland under-21 squad to face Ireland in the shinty hurling international next month.

Danny Kelly from Lovat, Andrew Morrison from Beauly and Lachlan Smith from Glenurquhart are in the 20-man squad who will play in Dublin on Saturday, November 2.

Announcing his squad, manager Alan MacRae said: "It has been a difficult decision to select the squad from the cream of Scottish under-21 shinty talent.

However, having considered player performances throughout the season, trial matches and composite training sessions, we feel we have selected a strong group of players who we believe will compete well with

the hosts, who we know will be looking for revenge following our well-deserved victory there last year.
