Beauly and Glengarry players called up to Scotland squad for tour of Ireland

Players from Beauly and Glengarry have been called up to the Scotland under-17 squad for its Tour of Ireland in July.

Beauly trio Euan MacCormick, Thomas MacKinnon and Finlay Maclennan along with Glengarry's Finlay Fraser are part of the 18-man squad who will travel to Ireland in a shinty/hurling challenge against teams in Kildare and Dublin.

Camanachd Association Youth Director, Willie MacDonald, said: “We are delighted to once again have the support of Sitekit for the U17 Tour of Ireland.

"This is an exciting and dynamic squad of players and for many this will be the first step on the journey to senior Scotland caps in the future.”
