The Inverness and District Football Association League kicked off for the first time in two years when Division Two started tonight.

Culbokie outfit Black Isle United got off to a rampant start as they thrashed Gellions 8–0.

Ruari Rogan scored a hat-trick with Jack Wardrop getting a double along with Gordy Bruce, Ben Kelly and Iain Ross also finding the net.

River Ness were on cloud nine in their first ever match as they hammered Citadel 9–3 at Bught Park.

Liam Taylor was the man of the match scoring five goals, Mikey Wemyss scoring twice and Jordan MacKinnon and Scotty Shield also finding the net.

Inverness Athletic hit Highland Athletic for six in their opening game at amateur level with a 6–2 victory.

Logan Dunsmore scored four goals for Athletic with a goal each from Owen McGhie and Cailean Davidson.
