A fun day for the local community and tourists alike was had yesterday at the Inverness Highland Games yesterday.

Representing Michelle & Aileen Wilson School of Dance in Dingwall, Eilidh Beaton (6) from Culbokie was Runner Up in the 7 and Under Beginners at the Highland Dancing competition.

From the heavies competitions to Highland dancing displays, it was an event for the whole family to be enjoyed on a cloudy – but unusually dry – day.

Young talents showed off their skills and some took home some prized silverware to be proud of.
