Khan, of Murray Place, pleaded guilty to driving at excessive speed without due or care or attention.

Sheriff Aitken fined him a total of £680 and endorsed his licence with eight penalty points.

He told Khan: “You now have 11 penalty points. You better behave behind the wheel or you can wave bye bye to your driving licence.”

Khan’s defence solicitor, Samantha Morrison, said: “He is very remorseful.”
