A NEW Inverness branch of The Edinburgh Woollen Mill (EWM) will create nine jobs when it opens its doors next Friday.

The Bridge Street shop, which is in the former Poundstretchers store, brings the number of outlets in the city owned by EWM to four.

Its previous shop in High Street has been retained and rebranded under the Gleneagles name and the company also has James Pringle and Hector Russell outlets which are also in Bridge Street.

Area manager Paul Boyfield said: “We are excited to welcome visitors to our new store in Inverness. It’s going to be a great addition to Bridge Street and to the local retail mix.”

“The team have some fun activities planned to mark the opening.”
