A 61-year-old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness after a car accident in Nairn.
She was a passenger in a car which it is believed crashed into a traffic light in King Street at around 3.15pm yesterday.
The man who was driving will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers received a report of a one-car crash, involving a blue Renault Kadjar, on the A96 King Street in Nairn at around 3.15pm on Saturday, May 7.
“A 61-year-old female passenger was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness as a precaution.
“The 67-year-old male driver of the car will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for a road traffic offence.
“The road was reopened at around 5.50pm.”
