Woman police officer and male driver hospitalised after 2 vehicle crash in Nairn
A woman police officer and a male driver were taken to hospital last night (Thursday) after their vehicles collided in Nairn.
Neither casualty was seriously injured in the crash just after 8pm.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are said to be ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Wednesday, 8 August, a marked police vehicle was involved in a crash with another car at the junction of Crescent Road and Marine Road in Nairn.
“The female police officer who was driving the vehicle and the male driver of the other car involved were both taken Nairn Town and County Hospital for treatment.
“Their injuries are not described as serious.
“Enquiries into the collision are ongoing.”
No further details are being given by Police Scotland at present.
