A woman who shouted and swore at police officers will have to wait to learn how she will be dealt with by the courts.

Tammy Kernahan (34) previously admitted threatening behaviour on November 16, 2020 at her home in Lochalsh Court, Inverness.

Solicitor Cecily Kingston told Inverness Sheriff court her client was on a community payback order which necessitated a background report.

Sentence was deferred until September 16 to allow a report to be prepared but this was not available for last week’s hearing.

Sentence has now been further deferred to October 14.
