A 23-year-old woman who was arrested after bricks were thrown at an Inverness shop window will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Police Scotland confirmed a woman had been arrested and charged following a report of bricks being thrown at a shop window in Bridge Street.

The incident took place around 4am yesterday.

In a statement, Police Scotland said: "She will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.

"Officers are appealing to anyone with further information on the incident to call 101, quoting incident 0819 of 24 October."
