Windy conditions led to the closure of the Bellfield Park paddling pool today (Tuesday).

Operators Highlife Highland said it was simply a matter of topping up the water levels following some blustery weather.

A High Life Highland spokesman said: “The paddling pool at Bellfield Park is closed for a short period today to allow the team to top-up water levels.

“Windy conditions have removed some of the water and to ensure the safety of those using the pool, we are currently topping the levels up to where they should be.

“We aim to be back open as soon as possible and will keep people updated through our Facebook page.”
