The Ironworks in Inverness is ready to welcome back music fans again with the further easing of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.

It has been announced that the venue will be able to reopen its doors from Monday and they will be operating with a Covid-19 set up – which is seated, table service, so that patrons can sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

The first show back is Davy and Sam Cowan on Saturday, May 22, who played at The Ironworks in November last year in the Covid-19 set up, and that will be followed by an appearance by Lional on Saturday, May 29.

A spokesman said: "We are opening a safe environment to allow you to watch your favourite live music performance. We take the health and safety of our guests and our staff very seriously and we are following government safety guidelines as well as advice from Scottish Government.

"Currently, all ticket sales are online only. Bookings for each event will be sold as zones for six, four, two or one, to fit within our limited capacity and our socially distant seating plan."

Further guidance will be issued on purchase of tickets, and in line with the government's changing guidelines.
