After taking over Bellfield Park’s kiosk and paddling pool earlier this year, new operator at Bellfield Park’s kiosk and paddling pool, Bloom at Bellfield, has had to deal with ‘unlimited damages’ and goods and equipment being stolen.

Business owner James MacDonald posted on Bloom at Bellfield’s page earlier today.

He said: “A message you never want to write being a new business.

“Unfortunately, after a few great months, we’ve now had a break-in which we are still dealing with.

“Feeling upset, tired and angry with many unfair whys thrown in. Any information to make us aware of, please pass on.

“This is happening too frequently in our local community. So, we are unfortunately not trading at this moment in time, as we’ve nothing left, no payment system, iPad, sound system or stock. Just many headaches/frustrations and a massive tidy/clearout… along with unlimited damages to bill for. Makes you think why bother?!”

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.50am on Monday, 2 September, 2024 we received a report of a housebreaking at a premises on Bellfield Park, Inverness.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
