A CHILDREN'S choir from Uganda will perform at two concerts in Inverness this week.

The Watoto Children's Choir, whose members comprise orphans and other vulnerable children, will appear at the Kings Fellowship in Smithton Industrial Estate tonight and Culduthel Christian Centre tomorrow.

The concerts – which are both free – are part of the choir's We Will Go UK tour.

Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled extensively since 1994, sharing a message of hope for Africa’s orphans and widows.

Accompanied by a team of adults, the choir presents Watoto’s vision and mission by sharing personal stories, music and dance.

While on the road, the children act as advocates for the millions of other African children who have experienced heartbreaking pain and suffering.

Two years ago, the choir performed at Inverness Cathedral while spending several days in the Highlands.

Both concerts take place from 7.30pm-8.45pm and people are advised to book a seat.
